Kia Seltos crosses 2 lakh sales milestone in India

-Kia Seltos 58 percent of all sales are high-spec variants

-Diesel engines contributed 45 percent of total sales.

Kia India has emerged strongly as one of the fastest growing car manufacturers in the country. As the company celebrates its second anniversary in the country, Kia India is also pleased to report huge sales for the Kia Seltos. Recently, Kia India was also recognized as the fastest car maker to record three thousand sales in the country. Interestingly, more than 66 percent of all Kia India sales were contributed by the Seltos SUV.

Speaking in terms of demand based on consumer preferences, 58 percent of total sales are believed to come from high-end variants, while automatic variants contribute more than 35 percent. In addition, the company claims that diesel powertrain alte
atives contributed to 45 percent of total sales.

Kia India takes the lead in connected car technology with 1.5 lakh connected cars already sold in the country. The Kia Seltos HTX 1.5 petrol variant is a popular choice for customers looking for connected technology. Interestingly, of the total auto-related Kia sales in the country, Seltos contributed over 78 percent, while Sonet accounts for more than 19 percent.
