The South Korean carmaker's first pure electric vehicle will be unveiled globally later this month. Before the official launch, Kia revealed the exterior and interior photos of the Kia EV6. The crossover follows the new "Opposites United" brand design philosophy that will carry over to all-electric vehicles of the future. The carmaker says its new design language is based on five key design pillars: ‘Bold for Nature’, ‘Joy for Reason’, ‘Power to Progress’, ‘Technology for Life’, and ‘Tension for Serenity’. The new Kia EV6 electric car has a distinctive crossover-inspired design and based on the brand’s new Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP).
. The underside has huge air intakes that direct airflow under the flat car floor to improve aerodynamics.
On the side, the slightly sloping roofline and black inserts on the C-axis give the Kia EV6 a crossover look. A thick silver stripe running down the doors and wrapping around the rear wheel arches imparts a sense of continuity to the LED taillights on the rear fender. The doors have the proper flush handles and the pleats around the wheel arches add strong oomph to the crossovers. The striking rear is the LED taillight that flows smoothly through the trunk line and into the fenders. A roof spoiler and silver bar complete the overall look of the EV6.
