Kawasaki Versys 1000, 2021, Launched; At Rs 11.19 lakhs

Despite getting a slight price increase and in 2021, the Versys 1000 will not receive cosmetic, mechanical, or feature updates. Globally, the Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE has Skyhook electronic suspension, but for India, the model remains the same. Devices are part analog and part digital with an analog tachometer and digital LCD display. The Versys 1000 has standard ABS, traction control, and a Kawasaki-powered Inertial Bend Management (IMU) function that monitors chassis and engine parameters when the bike is bent at an angle.rn

Kawasaki Versys 1000 Engine

rnThe engine is the same 1,043cc liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine, producing 118 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 102 Nm of torque at 7,500 pm. The Kawasaki Versys 1000 runs on 17-inch alloy wheels and has 150mm ground clearance. The 2021 Kawasaki Versys 1000 continues to feature a 43mm inverted fork with adjustable rear shock and spring preload, with 150mm suspension travel. Kawasaki Versys 1000 other features

rnBraking is done by four-piston calipers holding dual 310mm petal discs at the front wheel, while at the rear is a single 250mm disc that is gripped with a single-piston caliper. The Kawasaki Versys 1000 recommends the scale with a curb weight of 255 kg. The bike comes with the standard slip-assist clutch, cruise control, and electronic throttles, which provide the perfect blend of air-fuel and are said to produce a smooth, natural response from the engine.
