Jaguar I-Pace all-electric SUV to be launched in India on 9 March

Jaguar Land Rover India has announced that the all-electric Jaguar I-Pace will be officially launched in India on March 9, 2021. I-Pace reservations have already commenced in November 2020 and deliveries are scheduled to start from March 2021. Jaguar I-Pace will be available In three variants: S, SE, and HSE.

Jaguar I-PACE could be a strong competitor to Mercedes-Benz EQC and the EV has been trading in many Weste markets for some time. The first Jaguar I-PACE units arrived in India in early January. Reservations have already started in November 2020.

The next Jaguar I-Pace will be equipped with two electric motors powered by a 90 kWh battery, which will generate 389 hp of power and 696 Nm of torque. It is expected to reach the 100 km/h mark from standstill in just 4.8 seconds. The brand is also expected to offer a free five-year service package, roadside assistance, and a 7.4 kW AC wall charger.

Other features of the all-electric SUV include a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a three-spoke steering wheel, a distinctive rectangular front grille, dual-capsule LED headlights, and a coupe-like sloping roof. The highlight of the cabin is an air ionization feature that packs PM2.5 filtration to capture ultrafine airboe particles and allergens.
