Hyundai Motor India today launched a BS6 Hyundai Elantra diesel engine with a starting price of Rs 18.70 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The automaker also lowered BS6 Hyundai Elantra petrol prices, starting at Rs 17.60 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). 2020 Hyundai Elantra takes the likes of Skoda Octavia and Honda Civic.

The BS6 diesel engine that runs on Hyundai Elantra 2020 is the same 1.5-liter CRDi U2 unit that runs on Hyundai Creta 2020 and Hyundai Ve
a 2020. The factory produces 115PS and 250Nm of peak torque and has 6 speeds MT and 6 speeds AT. The 2020 Hyundai Elantra BS6 petrol engine is a 2.0-liter Nu unit that produces 152 horsepower and 192 Nm of peak torque and is offered with 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT.

The new Hyundai Elantra features the automaker's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design. Quad-width headlights with LED DRL lamps surround the chrome hex grille. On the back, you will find a set of LED taillights and bumpers in two colors. Features like the shark fin antenna and 16-inch metal wheels are also available. The cabin of the Hyundai Elantra 2020 is equipped with bells and whistles, such as the 10-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, tilt and telescopic steering, steering-mounted controls, automatic cruise control, and a slot entertainment system with 8-inch high-definition touch screen Electric ceiling.
