The new Hyundai Creta 2020 to get a unique Interior look

Hyundai has finally unveiled the India-spec second-gen Hyundai Creta at Auto Expo 2020

rnThe model of the Hyundai Creta that has been introduced in India looks very similar to the one in China. The car is known by the name ix25 in China. Taking a closer look will reveal the subtle exterior tweaks in its styling such as the unique grille inserts and alloy wheel design among others.rnrnAlthough these changes are not very significant the biggest difference between the India-spec Creta and the one in the Chinese market is the interiors of the car. The car features a whole another design of the dashboard as showcased by Hyundai at the Auto Expo 2020.rnrnHyundai Creta Hyundai CretarnrnThe model that was displayed at the Auto Expo had a steering wheel that looked similar to the latest-gen Hyundai Sonata that is on sale in the international market. The car is loaded with various controls such as audio, Bluetooth telephony and cruise control. The car also has the digital instrument cluster that it got from the Chinese model. The dashboard and the design of the AC vent are also unique. There is a large infotainment screen below the AC vents and there has been no confirmation about its size but we are expecting it to be similar to the one in Seltos (10.25-inch unit).rnrnThe infotainment screen will be landscape-oriented in the India-spec model of the Hyundai Creta unlike the large portrait orientation on the China model. It will also have automatic climate control and an electronic parking brake. Some of the other expected features include cooled seats and wireless charging on the top-spec variant.rnrnThe new Creta will get a black and beige interior theme which will not just be seen on the dashboard but the seats as well. The seats will also have a criss-cross design similar to the ix25 car in China. The model that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 also had a panoramic sunroof.rnrnHyundai Creta Hyundai CretarnrnWhen it comes to the exteriors, the 2020 Hyundai Creta gets a design that is clearly different from the previous-gen car. The model also gets the large version of the cascading grille of Hyundai that can also be seen on the newer models of Hyundai. It has a split headlight arrangement with LED DRLs on the top along with the LED headlights as well as fog lamps below with a new look.rnrnThe new Creta gets a muscular look with the squared-out wheel arches. The Higher variants of the car will get dual-tone paint schemes and the 17-inch alloy wheels. At the rear end of the car, it has split LED tail-lamps as well as a low-set number plate.rnrnThe new India-spec Creta will be available with three engine options. A 115hp, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox, a 115hp, 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel unit mated to a 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic gearbox options.  Hyundai may also introduce the Seltos’ 140hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine that is mated to a 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox options.rnrnThe price for the 2020 Hyundai Creta will be announced by 17th March 2020 and will be in competition with the Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, Renault Captur and the MG Hector among others.rnrnAlso Read:  Upcoming Cars in India 2020 from the Auto Expornrn
