The new Honda Activa 6G has been launched in the Indian market. It seems like the brand has been working hard to maintain the scooter's position in the market as the market leader as of now. The all-new Honda Activa G has been equipped with all the latest features which make the two-wheeler a better model than its predecessor. It offers better and more attractive features.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has made the required updates to the engine of the Activa 6G so as to make the scooter compliant with the current BS6 emission norms. Along with this, the suspension of the scooter has also been upgraded. Now, there is also a new warranty package with the two-wheeler that gives an assured ownership experience for the buyer.
The all-new Honda Activa 6G is available in the Indian market in two different variants. These variants include Honda Activa 6G Standard and Activa 6G Deluxe.
The price for the Honda Activa 6G BS6 Standard model is around Rs 63,912 (ex-showroom price in Delhi). This model has been priced Rs 7,978 more expensive than the previous Activa 5G Standard model. The Activa 6G BS6 compliant Deluxe model is priced at Rs 65,412 (ex-showroom price in Delhi). This model has been priced Rs 7,613 more expensive than the previous Activa 5G Deluxe model.
The previous Honda Activa 5G was available in a total of eight color options. But, the all-new Honda Activa 6G is available in six color options. These include Glitter Blue Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Black, Pearl Precious White, and the Matte Axis Grey Metallic. The Glitter Blue Metallic paint is the latest addition to the color options.
The new Honda Activa 6G has been well-equipped with the latest features including a DC LED headlamp. Other features include the fuel tank lid that was earlier placed under the seat but is now placed right above the taillight of the scooter. There is also a new integrated dual function switch that helps to access the storage space under the seat and operating of the exte
al fuel lid is also a new addition. Along with these, Honda Activa 6G also has a new passing switch and an engine start/stop switch as well.
When it comes to the exterior of the scooter, the whole body is the same as the Honda Activa 5G along with little tweaks to the bodywork and chrome embellishments at the front.
The engine and mileage specification of the Honda Activa 6G has also been provided in detail. The Activa 6G has been powered by an engine compliant with the BS6 emission norms. It produces a displacement of 109.51 cc, fan-cooled, 4-stroke, PGM-Fi, SI engine that produces 7.79 hp and a peak torque of 8.79 Nm.
On the other hand, the Honda Activa 5G has been powered by an engine compliant with the BS4 emission norms. It produces a displacement of 109.19 cc, fan-cooled, 4-stroke, SI motor that produces 7.97 hp and a peak torque of 9 Nm. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has made a claim that the mileage of the all-new Honda Activa 6G is 10 percent better than the previous Honda Activa 5G model.
When it comes to the technical specifications, the new Honda Activa 6G has been equipped with a telescopic suspension in the front and the rear has a 3-step adjustable spring-loaded hydraulic. Its predecessor has the spring-loaded hydraulics. The new and improved Activa 6G has a bigger wheel at the front measuring 12 inches and a 10-inch wheel at the rear. Whereas the Activa 5G had wheels measuring 10 inches at the front as well as the rear.
The Activa 6G is equipped with the drum brakes and CBS (combi-brake system) along with equalizer. The new Honda Activa 6G also has been said to have a better ground clearance and the wheelbase in comparison to the Honda Activa 5G.
The Activa 6G features the globally acclaimed esp technology. This technology helps in giving a silent start to the vehicle and helps in reducing the friction and increases the mileage by 10 percent.
It has also been equipped with the new Tumble flow technology that helps to increase the turbulence of the Air-Fuel mixture, which in tu
helps in achieving improved combustion and fuel efficiency. Honda has developed the world’s first technology in which tumble flow is being produced by optimizing the inlet port shape with the integrated die-casting and using the reverse flow phenomenon in the inlet port without the use of any additional components.
The car comes equipped with a Dual Function Switch as well. It is a compact console that basically makes sure of the safety of the two-wheeler and at the same time, making the opening of the under-seat storage and the exte

The all-new Honda Activa 6G has been given with a warranty of six years. Out of this, three years are standard and three years are extended. While the extended warranty is an option. The Honda Activa 6G faces competition with the BS6-compliant 110cc scooter, the TVS Jupiter Classic Edition.
