Hero has introduced the Xoom 110 Combat Edition in India, priced at Rs. 80,967 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This variant draws inspiration from fighter jets and features a distinct design. Sporting a new Matt Shadow Grey color with neon yellow and dark grey graphics, it exudes a sporty appeal. Despite being priced Rs. 1,000 higher than the top-end ZX variant, it promises enhanced style and performance.
The Xoom 110 Combat Edition has the same features as the standard model which includes a full digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth Connectivity, providing SMS and call alerts, phone battery status, real-time mileage, and other vital information. Additional amenities comprise a USB charging point, projector LED headlight, cornering lamps, boot light, and LED tail-light.
Under the hood, the Xoom 110 Combat Edition houses a 110.9cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with i3S technology, generating 8bhp of power and 8.70Nm of torque. It employs a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear for suspension, while braking duties are handled by a 190mm front disc brake and a 130mm rear drum brake.
In a separate launch, Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the new Hero Splendor Xtec+ 2.0 priced at Rs. 82,911 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Celebrating its 30th anniversary, this model offers upgraded features, including a full LED instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and USB charging port. Powered by the same reliable 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine mated to a 4-speed gearbox, it delivers 8.02 bhp of power and 8.05Nm of torque, with an impressive mileage of 73kmpl. Available in Gloss Red, Gloss Black, and Matte Grey dual-tone color options, the Splendor Xtec+ 2.0 promises a blend of style and performance for riders.
