Extra Ordinary Things to Know about Mitsubishi Outlander 2018

Mitsubishi, one of the premium car brands introduces its brand new model, a third-generation Outlander SUV.

It has been a pretty long wait for the Mitsubishi fans since the last launch from the manufacturers (Pajero Sport) dates back to 2012. And the last update that we can think of is the Montero Facelift (end of 2016).

The Honda CR-V is believed to be a potential competitor of Outlander 2018. However, it is expected to be launched much later.

There are a number of features to look for in Outlander 2018 such as the keyless go, the electric sunroof, the auto headlights and wipers, the electric parking brake and the dual-zone climatic control. Also, there will be a touch-screen infotainment system.

With the help of the 7-inch display, you can easily stream songs over Bluetooth and use various apps thanks to the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This smart infotainment system also makes it easy for you to view car information from time to time. The 710-watt Rockford Fosgate Sound System is another unique feature to look for in this model.

The car has seating arrangements for seven people, the passenger volume being 128 cubic feet. So basically it offers ample space for everyone to sit comfortably inside the car and relax. If just two of you are travelling and are carrying heavy luggage along with yourself, you may fold the seats at the second and third rows to increase the space and accommodate your stuff.

It is also provided with hill-start assist, as many as six airbags and an active stability control. It will be available only in the petrol variant; to the disappointment of the potential buyers, no diesel version is to be launched.

The car is available in four different trim levels- the ES, SEL, SE and GT. All these levels come with All-Wheel Drive (AWD) or Front Wheel Drive (FWD).

The engine is a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder one and delivers a power of 166hp and 162lb-ft Torque. The GT Trim Level is accompanied by a 6-speed automatic transmission. With the help of it, the horsepower is increased to 224 and the torque to 215lbft.

With so many amazing features to offer, the manufacturers have fixed the price of the car at no less than Rs. 30lakh. You can make an advanced booking by paying a fee of Rs 5 Lakh.

There are also certain breath-taking safety features- the Blind Spot Wa
ing and the Lane Change Assist which will help you to change lanes safely.

The Limited Edition of the Outlander 2018 has a lot of groovy features to offer such as the black accents at the interior as well as exterior, the 18-inch black alloy wheels, the extensive power-glass sunroof and, of course, the Limited Edition batch.

Last but not the least- the car comes with a Powertrain Limited Warranty of 10 years/ 100,000 miles.  There are also other warranties like transferrable New Vehicle Limited Warranty, anti-corrosion/perforation warranty and Unlimited Miles Roadside Assistance that will allow you to enjoy a hassle-free experience with your car.
