BMW X3 M40i launched; prices in India start at Rs. 86.50 lakh

BMW has launched the X3 M40i in India, with prices starting at Rs. 86.50 lakhs (ex-showroom). The model, which arrives in the country via the CBU route, will be available in limited numbers. Pre-orders for the model started last month and can only be placed through the BMW Online Shop.

The X3 M40i is available in two colors: Brooklyn Grey and Black Sapphire, while the cabin has black perforated Sensatec upholstery. The heart of the model is a 3.0-liter six-cylinder petrol engine that generates 360 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.9 seconds, all the way up to a top speed of 250kmph.

Outside, the 2023 BMW X3 M40i gets a high-gloss black double-slat kidney grille with M emblem, Matrix LED headlights, high-gloss black ORVMs, black chrome tailpipes, 20-inch light-alloy wheels and M Sport brakes with red brake calipers.

Inside, the X3 M40i comes with an M-specific leather steering wheel with multifunction contrast stitching in the M colours, electric seat adjustment with memory function, M seat belts, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, parking control, 3-zone automatic climate, shifter paddle shifters, cruise control with braking function and Automatic Differential Braking (ADB) with electronic differential locks as standard, fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster, BMW Operating System 7.0, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless, wireless charging, Parking Assistant Plus, music system 16 speakers with Harman Kardon source.

Some other notable features of the new BMW X3 M40i include M Sport Differential, Adaptive M Suspension, Variable Sport Steering, M Sport Brakes, Gesture Control, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, Head-Up Display (HUD) and Start-stop function. Automatic, kidney grille with active airflow, driving modes (Comfort, Eco Pro, Sport and Sport +).
