BMW M 1000 RR Launched In India At Rs. 42 Lakh

BMW Motorrad on Thursday launched the first-ever 'M' series motorcycle in India in two variants. The BMW M 1000 RR is priced at Rs. 42 lakh (ex-showroom), while the BMW M 1000 RR Competition variant is priced at Rs. 45 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings for the motorcycle have commenced across the BMW Motorrad India dealerships.

The BMW M 1000 RR is lighter than the S 1000 RR. It is powered by a 999 cc water/oil-cooled, 4-cylinder inline engine. The engine offers a maximum power output of 212 hp and a peak torque of 113 Nm. The M 1000 RR can go from 0-100 kmph in 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 306 kmph.

The M 1000 RR also has a modified chassis with a new beveled angle and a longer swingarm, meaning the wheelbase is now 16 mm longer, which improves stability

BMW M 1000 RR comes with features like BMW ShiftCam Technology, flex frame, riding modes- rand, road, dynamic, and race, optional Riding Modes Pro, enhance the overall riding experience of the motorcycle both on the track and on the roads.

The M Competition Package includes - M GPS-lap trigger, passenger kit, pillion seat cover, carbon pack (M carbon front and rear mudguard, M carbon upper fairing side panel, M carbon tank cover, M carbon chain guard, M carbon sprocket cover), and the M billet pack (M engine protectors, M brake lever folding, M brake lever guard, M clutch lever folding, M rider footrest system).
