Young persons are recognizing Benelli now but it is an old and trusted subsidiary motorcycle manufacturer which is well known to older generations. Now it's redefining the meaning of classic taste with the new reinterpretation of the 1950s Benelli-MotoBi range.

Benelli has launched its most affordable motorcycle, the Imperiale 400. This bike is priced at Rs. 1.69 lakh in India, and it is setting a direct rivalry to the Royal Enfield Classic 350, the best of the class. The new Imperiale is also the manufacturer's first offering in the classic bike space and has been a long-awaited model ever since it was first launched globally in 2017. Benelli Imperiale 400 recalls the brand's strong heritage and class.

The Imperiale 400 is powered by 399 cc SOHC, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled BS4 engine with electronic fuel injection. Classy right??  The motor chu
s 20 bhp at 5500 rpm and generates 29 Nm of peak torque at 4500 rpm, while paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike runs on 41 mm telescopic front forks and adjustable dual shock absorbers at the rear which are preloaded. The braking performance comes from a 300 mm disc up front with a two-piston floating caliper and a 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear wheel, with dual-channel ABS as standard. These provide complete comfort and safety in a ride.

To go with the body, this super cool bike has a compact double-cradle frame. Its structure and the design remained old school with round headlamp, teardrop fuel tank and the chrome and black finished engine and exhaust. The chrome and black color add perfection in the body. The bike rides on spoked wheels with a 19-inch unit at the front wheel and an 18-inch unit at the rear wheel, wrapped in 110/90 and 130/80 section tubed tyres respectively. The classy Imperiale 400 is available in three color options - Red, Silver, and Black. Benelli Imperiale 400 has a classic retro look with the tail-lamps and tu
-indicators. The retro look is further carried to the fuel tank and instrument cluster design. The double-pod instrument cluster features a small TFT display that provides ODO-meter and trip-meter; among other information.


Manufacturers of this bike are offering the bike with a three year/unlimited-kilometer warranty as normal, and along with it a complimentary service for the first two years.  Imperiale 400 has also introduced in the market with an Annual Maintenance Contract for hassle-free customer experience, which can be availed after the completion of the first two years. Not just a class in exchange for a price, but also economic for buyers. Apart from offering a three-year unlimited kilometer warranty as standard, the manufacturing company is said Imperiale 400 is coming with complimentary service for the first 2-years which will be a huge part of maintenance. It has also introduced an annual maintenance contract for this bike for a better and hassle-free customer experience, which can be availed after the completion of the first 2-years.

It is throwing a tough competition to Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Jawa standard bikes in both looks and performance. People are getting amazed by its features and styles and as a result of it, in the first round, the makers have received 500 bookings for Imperiale 400.
