TATA Safari

Starting as a flagship SUV, the Tata Safari is available in Gold Edition, Adventure Persona, Dark Edition, Kaziranga Edition and the recently introduced Jet Edition. In the vanilla avatar, Safari can be used in the XE, XM, XMS, XT, XT+, XZ, and XZ+ variants. Now the last two, the XZ and XZ+, are taking advantage of features that have leaked from the Jet Edition.

For the XZ and XZA trims, there's a wireless smartphone charger, a USB Type-A and Type-C charging port in the three rows, and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for the 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Moving on to the XZ+ and XZA+ variants, it is now equipped with comfortable winged headrests for the second-row seat. On the safety front, the Safari benefits from sleep-driving alert, panic brake alert, and post-collision braking.

Tata Harrier is also available in Jet, Kaziranga and Dark special editions. Where the XZ variant now has USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports in both the first and second rows, the XZS variant takes advantage of advanced ESP features. These include sleep-driving alert, panic brake alert, and post-collision braking.

The high-spec XZ+ variant is now loaded with four-wheel disc brakes and has a wireless charging pad.

There are no changes to the powertrain in both SUVs and they continue to use the 2.0-liter turbo diesel. This engine produces 168 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission.
