BluSmart launches all-electric limousine service in UAE
New Delhi: BluSmart, a provider of all-electric passenger transportation and electric vehicle charging infrastructure network, on Monday made its first international foray into the UAE with the #RideSmartDubai campaign.
This makes it the UAE’s first 100% electric full-stack premium limousine service and is an important step in the UAE's transition towards sustainable transportation solutions.
BluSmart's luxury chauffeur service will begin in Dubai with a fleet of Audi e-tron luxury cars. Industry-first features include driver cancellation, fixed and transparent starting prices, on-time arrival, and a CO2 tracker that shows how much CO2 has been saved after every trip a user takes. The various services cater to the needs of Dubai's cosmopolitan population, offering city trips, airport tours, hourly rental bookings within the city, as well as deliveries to other emirates. To book a BluSmart experience in Dubai, including transportation needs of corporate employees, customers can download the BluSmart app from the Apple App Store and Android Play Store, the company said in a press release.

In India, BluSmart's fleet of more than 7,500 electric vehicles, the largest in South Asia, has completed more than 15.1 million emission-free trips covering more than 498 million electric kilometers, saving 36 million kg of emissions of CO2, since its creation in 2019. The statement added that the charging centers are spread over an area of more than 1.8 million sq. ft. area with over 5,000 (fast and slow) EV charging stations powered by green source, the release added.
