- Bookings are open for Rs 50,000
- Available only with a 2.4-litre diesel engine with manual gearbox
Toyota India has re-introduced the Innova Crysta with bookings starting at Rs 50,000. The Toyota Innova Crysta will be sold alongside the recently launched Hycross and will be offered with a 2.4-litre diesel engine in four variants and two seating options.
The 2023 Innova Crysta gets a tweaked front fascia which now has more prominent chrome accents. The front grille has a horizontal chrome strip, while the bumper has a bit of chrome on the chin and around the new fog light housing. Furthermore, the Crysta retains the MPV silhouette and will be offered in four variants: G, GX, VX and ZX.
The Innova's cabin is equipped with a power driver's seat, rear air vents with digital display, seat back, one-touch covers for the second-row seats, and leather upholstery covered in a black and tan hue. The Crysta continues to be offered in seven and eight seat body styles. In terms of safety, the 2023 Innova has seven airbags, front and rear parking sensors, brake assist, and a three-point seatbelt.
The Crysta uses the same 2.4-liter diesel engine that produces 148bhp and 343 Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. However, this time around the Innova Crysta loses out on the automatic gearbox and petrol powertrain. Pricing for the new Crysta is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
