The 2023 BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine features a redesigned front grille with a standard set of full LED headlamps that are now slimmer, with DRL stripes and headlamps arranged in an inverted L shape for a modern look. The exterior daytime lighting elements also act as indicators. The long-wheelbase hood comes from an additional 110mm wheelbase and the associated increase in seat comfort and rear-cab legroom. With an exterior length of 4,823mm and a wheelbase of 2,961mm, the 2023 BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine outperforms any other car in its class. The M Sport package also includes a bespoke interior configuration, with features such as a silver headlining, M leather steering wheel, M-specific seat surfaces and new black interior strips creating a sporty ambience.
The interior of the 2023 BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine undergoes the most significant change in terms of performance and, of course, the quality of the materials used. The design of the driving position is accompanied by a larger area for the interior trim integrated into the instrument panel. The driver and front passenger sit in power-adjustable seats, while the large panoramic sunroof, ambient lights and tri-zone automatic climate add a touch of luxury. The highlight for the occupants, however, is the new curved display running the latest BMW 8 operating system. A 12.3-inch digital display and a 14.9-inch touchscreen sit centrally above the excellent quotient. The car also offers wireless charging, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system.
Power still comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine, mated to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. The petrol version, the BMW 330Li, develops 254PS and 400Nm at 1,550-4,400rpm, accelerating from 0-100km/h in 6.2 seconds, while the 330Ld diesel version produces 187PS and 400 Nm at 1,750-2,500 rpm per minute. This version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds. The 2023 BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine rivals the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Audi A4 in India, while the Volvo S60 was recently discontinued.
