The Auto Expo is a premier auto show and is Asia's largest Auto show. You can find the best of the World's automotive showcases, be it products, technologies, concepts or current trends. The Auto Expo 2020 is the 15th Edition of the premier auto show. It will be held from 7th February till 12th February 2020 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. However, the component show of the Auto Expo 2020 will be held at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi between 6th and 9th February 2020.rnrn
It is one of the important events of the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles [OICA>, the global automotive trade association. The Auto Expo is organized by ACMA (The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association), CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) and SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) jointly.rnrn
It is not certain that all car manufacturers will show up at this auto event. Some may not turn up. The Auto Expo 2018 has more than one lakh visitors from over 67 countries and participants from all over the world. This time, you can expect a fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles with the newest technologies manufactured both by International as well as domestic players. Some of the companies that are expected to showcase their cars at the Auto Expo 2020 may include Hyundai, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Kia, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Mercedes-Benz, Okinawa, Piaggio, Renault, BMW, Dilip Chhabria Design, Greaves Cotton Limited, Hero Electric Vehicles, Hero MotoCorp, Honda Cars India, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, Isuzu, Suzuki MotorcycleIndia, Tata Motor, TVS, Toyota, and more.rnrn
The first-ever Auto Expo was held in the year 1985 which was organized together by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). The show takes place once every two years. All the latest technologies and innovations are showcased at the show. The Indian automotive industry is in its slow phase currently and it has been in the news that some manufacturers may not participate in the show this year as the costs for participation are huge. rnrn
One of the key themes of the Auto Expo 2020 is the shift to using cleaner fuels as well as the proper adoption of the BS6 emission norms in the country. The EVs are going to be in the spotlight this time. Models such as the WagonR EV, the Renault Kwid Electric, Mahindra XUV300 EV and the Tata Alroz EV will make their debut at the Auto Expo 2020.
